About Our Client

A reputable and well-established manufacturing firm in Hong Kong is seeking a capable HR Officer to join their HR team. This is a true all-rounded operational role offering broad exposure across the full HR spectrum in a stable, professional environment with a strong manufacturing heritage.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for production, technical, engineering, supervisory and office roles.
  • Post vacancies, screen applications, coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, prepare offers and contracts.
  • Support onboarding, probation follow-up and new joiner orientation programs.
  • Process monthly payroll (HK & possibly cross-border elements), MPF, tax reporting and statutory deductions.
  • Administer staff benefits (medical, group life, dental, leave, allowances, overtime pay).
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personal files and HRIS / payroll system data.
  • Participate in or lead small-to-medium HR projects (e.g. engagement activities, training coordination, staff handbook update, process streamlining).
  • Prepare HR reports, headcount analysis and basic metrics for management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of solid HR generalist experience in a multinational or sizable local organisation
  • Hands-on experience in Hong Kong payroll processing and C&B administration is essential.
  • Good understanding of recruitment (especially blue-collar / technical roles) and employee relations in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Proficient in HRIS / payroll systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
