Our client is a global entertainment business with offices across the UK, EU, UAE and Asia. With an office in Hong Kong they are continuing to expand across the globe and an opportunity has arisen for a talented HR leader to join their growing business.

Job Description

As the HR Manager, reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for all HR functions and driving HR strategies for other regions.

  • Enhance the company's HR function by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs and practices
  • You will handle recruitment, HR polices and procedures, training, performance management, C&B, visa applications and more
  • Develop overall HR strategies in alignment of the business strategy, ensure it is a market best practice as well as in compliance with local labour law and regulations
  • Primarily overlooking Hong Kong office and operations, but also work closely with and support the regional / global strategies

The Successful Applicant

The candidate will need the following:

  • At least 8 years of HR generalist experience. Experience working as an individual contributor would be highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge in Hong Kong labour law and regulations. Knowledge in other regional labour law would be advantaged
  • Excellent communications in Chinese and English is a must
  • Independent, flexible, result-driven, analytical with good communication and interpersonal skills
