Job Description

As an HR Director for the newly set up office, you will report to the MD and the group level HR, and be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives while providing strategic guidance to senior management on organizational development. Your role will encompass leading talent acquisition and retention initiatives, overseeing employee relations to foster a positive workplace culture, and managing compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. You will ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies, design and deliver training and development programs, and monitor HR metrics to prepare insightful reports for management review. This position requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution to drive HR excellence across the organization.

The Successful Applicant

The successful HR Director should have a minimum of 12-15 years of relevant HR experience in the fashion, apparel, accessories, footwear retail industry, preferably with a mixed commercial strategy including retail, wholesale, e-commerce...etc, preferably in a regional capacity. You should possess strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, coupled with proven leadership and sound decision-making skills. As this is a newly set up office, you will support the MD in recruiting new positions, design the C&B package, and stay close with the business and provide proactive and immediate HRBP advisory as required. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster effective relationships across all levels. Proficiency in HR systems and tools is essential, and the role typically requires a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. English & Chinese languages are required.
