An opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Talent management expert to join their regional team in Hong Kong.Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of HR in Asia and the Talent Lead at the headquarters, you will be responsible for the Talent Management & Talent Development strategies for the Asia business. The organization is striving to transform their HR function, and aim to strengthen their talent strategies across the use of assessment tools, setting up competency models for recruitment, performance management, hi-po selection, talent development programs for all levels...etc. You will work with the team to improve the overall orientation & onboarding programs, whilst implementing workshops and training around management capability, leadership and coaching. You will work closely with the business to identify talent gaps, and drive mobility, short term secondment and other interventions to close the gap. Other HR initiatives your team will cover include employee experience, employee engagement and DE & I. This is an exciting transformation phase, and we are looking for candidates with an open mind , hands on working style , an outgoing personality with the ability to bring talent strategies to solid programs.The Successful ApplicantThe right candidate will be degree qualified with a minimum of 15-18 years of experience in talent management preferably working for a sizable multinational or local organization headquartered in Hong Kong. You will have experience designing, developing and implementing talent programs from scratch, specifically solid experience in building competency models in your previous roles will be highly sought after. You will have a solid track record in driving talent programs and other HR initiatives , change & transformation projects in your previous roles at a regional level. We are looking for candidates with great communication skills with the ability to speak with senior stakeholders to fully understand their needs, and gain their trust and buy in at the same time.
