Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Business Development / Sales to lead the expansion efforts in cross-border payments, with a specific focus on stablecoin offerings. The ideal candidate will be in senior management role within business development or sales, specifically in companies like Ant Financial, Airwallex, Lianlian Pay, or PingPong. Understanding of the payment landscape, both traditional and blockchain-based is required.
  • Prior experience working in Ant Financial, Airwallex, Lianlian Pay, or PingPong
  • Familiar with cross-border payment landscape

Job Description

  • Strategic Business Expansion: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to introduce and sell stablecoin solutions to large-scale Chinese exporters, optimizing their cross-border transaction efficiencies.
  • Partnership Development: Forge strategic alliances with both traditional and blockchain-based cross-border payment providers to enhance our service offerings and market penetration.
  • OTC Distribution Networks: Establish and maintain over-the-counter (OTC) distribution partnerships in emerging markets, focusing on regions where our clients have significant business interests.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies that keep the company at the forefront of innovation in financial services.

The Successful Applicant

- Experience: At least 10 years in senior management roles within business development or sales, particularly in cross-border payment industries.

- Industry Expertise: Prior experience in companies like Ant Financial, Airwallex, Lianlian Pay, or PingPong is highly desirable.

- Network: Strong pre-existing network within the Chinese export business community and financial technology sectors.
