Job Description

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize revenue and profitability, taking into account market trends, competitor analysis, and hotel objectives.

  • Analyze market demand, competitor pricing, and historical data to determine optimal pricing strategies. Manage room inventory to ensure availability and maximize revenue potential.

  • Utilize revenue management systems and tools to forecast demand and analyze trends. Adjust pricing and inventory strategies based on demand fluctuations and market conditions.

  • Oversee the distribution channels, including online travel agencies, booking platforms global distribution systems, direct bookings, and other sales channels. Optimize channel mix to maximize revenue.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular revenue reports and performance analysis to monitor key metrics, identify revenue opportunities, and recommend strategies for improvement. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats. Conduct regular competitive analysis and benchmarking to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the market.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest revenue management tools and systems. Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance revenue management capabilities and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 8 + years of proven experience in growth marketing, revenue management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems and tools, such as property management systems (PMS), channel managers, and revenue management software.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with internal departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
