A great opportunity to join a newly set up prediction market platform in Asia. HQ in the US, our client is looking for a visionary Head of Quant Strategy to join as one of our earliest and most influential hires.This is a rare opportunity to own strategy end-to-end from day one: pricing models, market‑making logic, engineering pipeline, and eventually your own team.

Job Description

  • Develop and refine our market‑making and liquidity strategies using a proven foundational framework.
  • Build probabilistic pricing models and forecasting systems for diverse event markets.
  • Monitor real-time news, data, and market dynamics to update pricing and quoting logic.
  • Diagnose anomalies, intervene when needed, and feed insights back into systematic improvements.
  • Own the pipeline from research prototype to production deployment.
  • Scale into a leadership role as you build a world‑class quant research and engineering team.

The Successful Applicant

Must‑Have

  • Experience in prediction markets, sports betting, event derivatives, or similar event‑driven markets.
  • Strong foundations in probability, statistics, and model calibration.
  • Proficiency in Python and scientific computing libraries.
  • Full‑stack quant strategy experience (data → modeling → backtesting → live trading).
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast‑moving startup environment.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English



Nice to Have

  • Experience with market‑making, HFT, or automated trading systems.
  • Familiarity with market microstructure or order‑flow analysis.
  • Exposure to Hong Kong or APAC market environments.
  • Prior leadership experience in quant or research teams.
