About Our Client
Based in South China, our client is one of the largest TV manufacturers and exporters in the global market and a leader in multiple regions. The company is looking for a high calibre marketing professional to join their senior management team as Head of Marketing.
As the Head of Marketing, you will lead and drive marketing programs to expand the company's market share and grow its revenue. Specific activities will include market research, product planning, pricing, marketing communications, advertising and promotions.
Being part of the senior management team, you will formulate marketing strategy, create marketing plans, and lead the marketing department to deliver various campaigns and projects. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and drive improvements accordingly. Moreover, you will perform market analyses (market trends, consumer behaviour, competitor's activities, etc) to support decision marketing and strategy development.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, business management or related business discipline
- Marketing experience in regions outside of Asia Pacific (ideally in European, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America)
- Fluency in English is required while proficiency in Chinese is an advantage
- Strong people management skills with hands-on style of management and ability to work people from different cultures and functions
- Solid marketing management knowledge and people leadership experience
- Previous work experience in consumer electronics (ideally TV products)
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage with different stakeholders
- Resourceful and result driven, excellent analytical and problem solving skills
