About Our Client

Working with a close client within the financial services industry, we are looking for a Leadership Development professional to lead the talent development function.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be a functional head of L&D, leading a team of 5 and play a pivotal role in developing the future leaders of the organization.

Job Description

  • Act as the head of L&D to design and develop talent development, and organizational development initiatives for the organization
  • Drive the design and implementation of tailored learning solutions to meet the organization's specific organizational needs, with a strong focus on leadership development within Hong Kong
  • Monitor and review training policies, budget and reporting, and managing all training approval process
  • Provide guidelines on training and talent development initiatives, managing training vendors and other academy related matters to ensuring the delivery of effective and impactful programs.
  • Lead the employee engagement survey, working with external services providers on the entire process, results analysis, action plans and follow-ups
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing programs, ensuring that the talent development initiatives remain cutting-edge and impactful
  • Oversee end-to-end implementation of high-quality learning programs, measuring their impact and effectiveness. Collaborate with vendors, monitor industry trends, and evaluate programs to drive continuous improvement and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their active involvement in leadership development initiatives.
  • Deploy people strategy, collaborating with HR BPs and functional leaders to design customized learning solutions for organizational transformation and capability building.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualification or above in related discipline with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in learning and developing within the financial services industry or sizable organizations with strong presence in Hong Kong
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of leadership development models, metrics, and trends, with the ability to apply suitable strategies that align with business needs, and continuously improve existing programs.
  • Proficiency in designing and facilitating effective leadership development strategies.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and energetic, hands on, capable in presenting in front of top mgmt.
  • Language proficiency in English, Cantonese; excellent English writing is essential
