Job Description

As a 'Head of IT,' your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the IT department and overseeing all technology operations
  • Prioritizing cyber security, cloud and AI development for the organization
  • Developing and implementing IT policies and best practices
  • Driving the digital transformation initiatives
  • Collaborating with the business units to align systems with company objectives
  • Identifying opportunities for new technological advancements
  • Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
  • Ensuring data privacy and network security compliance
  • Managing relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head of IT' should have:

  • A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or a related qualification
  • Proven experience in a similar role in the manufacturing / industrial sector
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security, all-round IT systems and infrastructure, cloud adoption and AI etc.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational abilities
  • Strong strategic and business mindset
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Willing to travel and can speak Cantonese / Mandarin
