This role will ensure the protection of the company's information assets and compliance with relevant regulations while supporting our business objectives in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.Job DescriptionDevelop, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT security strategies, policies, and procedures.Oversee the identification and assessment of cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities across IT systems and networks.Manage incident response activities, including the investigation of security breaches and data loss incidents.Establish and maintain a governance framework that aligns IT security practices with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats to information assets and recommend mitigation strategies.Work closely with stakeholders to embed risk management practices into business processes.Collaborate with IT, business and other operational teams to ensure security measures are integrated into business initiatives.Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness of IT security policies and best practices among employees.Monitor and report on security metrics and compliance status to senior management and the board.Stay current with emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend necessary changes to security policies and practices.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
