Job Description

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the investment and trading strategy aligned with the company's financial goals. Oversee asset allocation and risk management practices.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor the investment and trading team, fostering a high-performance culture. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, economic data, and financial reports to identify investment opportunities. Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes affecting trading operations.
  • Investment Decisions: Make informed investment decisions based on thorough analysis and risk assessment. Manage and optimize the investment portfolio to achieve superior returns.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all trading activities comply with relevant laws and regulations. Develop risk management frameworks to mitigate potential losses.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance and market outlook to executive management and stakeholders. Communicate investment strategies and decisions clearly to team members and other departments.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management, trading, or related areas, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and investment analysis.
  • Proven track record of successful investment decision-making and portfolio management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
