About Our Client
An exclusive mandate with a European bank, they are well-known for their stability and working culture. Its Hong Kong office offers an A-class working environment, and is located at a district where it is convenient to commute. Due to business needs, they are seeking for an Information Security professional who is proficient 1st / 1.5 / 2nd Line-of-Defence (LoD), familiar with HKMA regulations, and has Commercial International Bank (CIB) experience, to join their team.
Reporting into the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), you have job scopes in relation to information security / IT risks across Business-as-Usual (BAU), leading new projects / projects, and establishment of new strategies.
Your primary responsibility is to monitor and implement changes to IT operations in accordance with HKMA's latest regulatory changes. In addition, you should stay on top of HKMA's regulatory changes and latest IT risks; build and sustain a great relationship with IT teams / 1st Line-of-Defence team / business stakeholders; prepare practical internal information guidelines in accordance with HKMA's regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
You should have 10+ years' working experience in Information Security (i.e. 1st / 1.5 / 2nd Line-of-Defence), with track record of safe-guarding a Commercial International Bank (CIB) from cyber threads and IT risks. You should have excellent command of communication skills in both English and Chinese, and strong understanding to HKMA's standards and regulations.
