Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsRegional roleHK, China and SE AsiaAbout Our ClientOur client has a well established business in Hong Kong and China, and further expanding in South East Asia.Job DescriptionReporting to the C-suite, you will manage the local HR and Admin teams across HK, China and South East Asia of over 15-18 staff in the team to support a total headcount of 1,000-1,200. There are a few key areas of focus to the role:1) You will the key advisory for the C-suite and senior management team where you will support them on corporate level HR strategy, cost, budget and workforce planning, handle performance management conversations and staff issues, as well as conducting data analysis and strategies to drive group wide productivity and business performance.2) Ensure that the local teams stay close to the business and provide HR advisory around manpower planning , budget management, recruitment, on & off boarding, annual exercises and talent management. You will also partner with regional counterparts to drive people strategies such as retention, employee engagement and ESG to address the company's needs.3) Drive HRIS and HR upgrade as a whole, bring in best practices from your previous companies to help strengthen their HR structure, policy and strategies. The company now needs to drive ESG, employee engagement and have more visibility in terms of how their staff are performing, hence a solid background in delivering change and transformation across these areas will be essential to the role.4) Responsible for senior level and confidential hiring for HK, China and guide off shore offices on recruitment as required.5) The position will cover Admin as well, hence candidates with experience overseeing admin is preferred.The Successful ApplicantThe successful applicant will be Degree qualified with a minimum of 15+ years of relevant HR experience from sizable MNC or local corporations with regional exposure. You will possess solid knowledge and experience in handling performance and employee issues in China and APAC, and have relevant experience in implementing a new HRIS for your previous companies. A proactive and advisory approach with solid senior stakeholder management experience is key, whilst strong leadership, communication and influencing skills will be crucial to the role. Candidates must possess solid operational background in order to lead the HR transformation journey.
