Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming complex research insights into compelling, multimedia-driven experiences, elevating content through high-impact videos, engaging podcast series, and innovative digital storytelling formats. This role requires both creative leadership and hands-on production skills, working closely with global research analysts, production teams, and external partners to ensure the delivery of best-in-class creative content.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead End-to-End Content Production

  • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of innovative video and podcast content, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with research objectives.
  • Manage the full content production cycle, from concept development to post-production, ensuring high-quality output that captures audience interest and engagement.
  • Set creative standards, guiding teams in visual storytelling, sound design, and multimedia integration.



Creative Direction & Storytelling

  • Develop narratives that blend research insights with compelling visual and audio storytelling.
  • Lead the creation of creative briefs, storyboards, and scripts, ensuring seamless transitions from data-driven insights to engaging multimedia content.
  • Use emotion-driven storytelling techniques to convey key research findings in accessible and impactful formats.



Cross-Functional Collaboration & Content Optimisation

  • Work closely with social media and digital marketing teams, optimising content for various online platforms.
  • Adapt multimedia content for different formats, ensuring it is optimised for organic reach and paid digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with design and brand teams to enhance content using motion graphics, animations, and immersive digital assets.



Innovation & Digital Content Strategy

  • Continuously explore new technologies, storytelling formats, and industry trends, driving innovation in video and podcast production.
  • Identify opportunities for interactive digital experiences, including data visualisation, AI-generated multimedia, and immersive research presentations.
  • Enhance workflow efficiency using new digital content tools and best practices in production management.



The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

Industry Expertise & Leadership Experience

  • Proven 10-15 years of experience leading video, podcast, or digital content teams in a corporate in-house, agency, or research-focused media environment.
  • Strong track record of delivering multimedia storytelling projects that drive audience engagement and industry influence.



Technical & Creative Skills

  • Expert knowledge of video production, motion graphics, audio editing, post-production, storyboard, and script writing.
  • Deep understanding of live/in-person video/audio recording, including filming in dynamic environments.
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and industry-standard video/podcast software.
  • Experience with 3D animation and interactive media is a plus.



Digital & Social Media Integration

  • Knowledge of social media video optimisation, including organic and paid strategies for content distribution.
  • Ability to re-purpose content across multiple digital platforms, ensuring high-impact audience engagement.



Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Strong multitasking, time management, and project management abilities, handling multiple productions simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.



Language & Regional Considerations

  • Native English proficiency, Mandarin is advantageous for regional collaboration.
  • Frequent travel required across Asia Pacific, supporting content production on-site.
