Job Description



We are seeking an experienced Head of Credit Risk to lead end‑to‑end credit risk management for retail unsecured products, primarily Credit Cards and Personal Loans. This is a senior leadership role responsible for portfolio strategy, risk analytics, policy governance, and regulatory oversight.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10+ credit risk professionals
  • Define and execute credit risk strategy for retail products (Credit Cards & Personal Loans) aligned with business growth and risk appetite
  • Own credit risk policies, underwriting standards, risk appetite metrics, portfolio limits
  • Oversee end‑to‑end portfolio performance across acquisition, behaviour, and collections, including delinquency, loss rates, and profitability
  • Drive proactive portfolio actions through policy tuning, line management, pricing inputs, and strategy optimisation
  • Lead credit risk analytics and modeling, including scorecards, decision rules, and risk frameworks.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in credit risk management within retail banking or consumer finance
  • Proven experience managing credit cards and/or personal loan portfolios
  • Strong background in credit risk analytics, portfolio performance management, and scorecard‑driven decisioning
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and risk judgment
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and balance risk with business objectives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Chinese
