This role will oversee market benchmarking, salary surveys, and job grading exercises to ensure competitive pay positioning, while managing annual salary reviews, bonus cycles, and performance management processes with precision and consistency.Acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, the incumbent will provide guidance on compensation structures, benefits offerings, and executive pay, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards. The role involves close collaboration with regional HR teams to harmonize C&B policies across geographies, and with external consultancies on specialized projects. A key focus will be partnering with headquarters to cascade total rewards initiatives to business units, identify barriers, and tailor solutions locally. The individual will conduct deep dives into BU-level reward strategies, share best practices, and shape C&B functions to meet evolving business needs.Responsibilities also include consolidating and analyzing C&B data from business units for reporting to headquarters, researching market trends and competitor benchmarks, and delivering insights to support newer business streams. Additionally, the role will contribute to budgeting, manpower planning, cost analysis, and bonus pool allocation, ensuring the total rewards framework remains agile, data-driven, and aligned with international standards.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will have 18-20 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, gained from large conglomerates or financial institutions with operations across Hong Kong, mainland China, and preferably international markets. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. The candidate should demonstrate deep expertise in strategic compensation and benefits, including executive compensation, and possess strong analytical skills with the ability to present data-driven insights and best practices. Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English is essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
