As the Departmental Head reporting to CEO and Audit Committee, you will be responsible for overseeing the internal audit and risk management, internal control, and corporate governance function. Your role is pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies that align with the organization's objectives.

Our Client is a HK Listed Company with regional presence in the Greater China, SEA, and the Middle East region.

Job Description

You will oversee the regional IA teams, guiding them to identify key risk areas and develop annual audit plans based on these risks and organizational priorities, Subsequently, ensure the effective execution of audit plans, analysis of findings and provision of recommendations, with prompt communication of results to stakeholders, including senior management and the Audit Committee. As a trusted advisor to management, you are responsible for all matters related to internal audit, risk management, internal controls, and governance practices. To enhance the overall function, you have to consistently stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices within the field.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; Master's degree or MBA is a plus
  • At least 15 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related fields, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role gained from Hong Kong Listed companies or MNCs.
  • Strong regional experience
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Capability to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels
