About Our Client

Our client is a well-established industry leader with a strong track record of success and a growing international footprint. In line with their recent expansion plans, they are seeking a highly capable Group Chief Financial Officer to be based in Hong Kong, to drive the business forward and support its next phase of growth.

Job Description

  • Lead the group's financial strategy, planning, and forecasting across multiple business units and regions (particularly in SE Asia)
  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, reporting, treasury, tax, and compliance
  • Drive operational efficiency and ensure smooth day-to-day financial processes
  • Partner with the executive team to support strategic initiatives, M&A activities, and capital investments
  • Ensure robust risk management and internal control frameworks are in place
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global finance team to foster a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Represent the company to investors, financial institutions, and key stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • Professional Accountant (i.e. HKICPA, ACCA, AICPA, CPAA)
  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in a multinational manufacturing or industrial related industry
  • Candidates who has worked for sizeable MNCs in their career will be a big plus
  • Strong strategic thinking with hands-on operational expertise
  • Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Open to individuals who may not speak Cantonese/ Mandarin, however the candidate must currently be in Hong Kong and has previous extensive experience in working in Hong Kong
