Goods not for re-sale Procurement Manager
About Our Client
The successful candidate will lead purchasing and supply management activities across indirect procurement, but particularly goods not for resale, across the region. You will build a team of 2-3 category analysts to support this growth. Expectations would be to delivery significant cost reductions, supplanted with year-over-year productivity improvements, covering quality and supplier service levels. You will be a key executor, facilitating and driving cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders & vendors and develop effective cost reduction strategies.
Key responsibilities, would be to lead and secure TCO reductions across various categories. Oversee commodity research in the region and build strong relationship's with suppliers/vendors through factory and tradeshow visits. Vendor selection and ensuring due diligence around those suppliers is critical, implementing deliverable and metrics to track performance and oversee the development of the Goods not for Resale category.
The position will report to HQ in North America, with key stakeholders across sourcing, merchandising and the commodity team
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for candidates with strong indirect procurement experience, particularly around Retail goods not for resale. Candidates from Retail backgrounds, sourcing categories around FF&E, property, facilities and infrastructure. We are looking for independent self-starters, with team management with demonstrable experience of cost savings and supplier management.
