Our client is a well-established bank in Hong Kong. Currently, they are looking for a Global Markets Operations Manager to join their team.

Job Description

  • Support the team manager in delivering operational support for the Global Markets business, with a focus on Interest Rate and Equity Derivatives, including trade validation, confirmation, and payment processing.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures in compliance with internal guidelines and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to project and system implementations, workflow optimization, and process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Participate in the development, testing, and rollout of new investment products and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including business units, IT, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure smooth and effective operations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • 7+ years of banking experience, preferably in Global Markets operations, with strong knowledge of Interest Rate and Equity Derivatives.
  • Familiarity with HKTR reporting is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently under pressure.
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.
