My client is a large company listed in HongKong. Currently they are confidentially looking for General Manager for a large venue (Just like Transportation Hub, or large exhibition hall). This role will be in charge of the overall pre-opening preparation and operation after opening, manage a multinational team from different segments.

About Our Client

Job Description

  • Development the overall service process (meet SLAs) and operation model which will includes customer journey, customer flow, customer experiences etc. Coordinate with project team, operations team and senior management team, explain the various stages and nuances of pre-opening, including the standard requirements and compliances.
  • Liaise with different segments to achieve a high level owners' satisfication, as well as gain the awareness of potential customers.
  • Work with segment, prepare and present pre-opening precess to key stakeholders management group, to make sure all departments be ready for grand opening.
  • Work with key corporate functions to define and determine SLAs, in particular FM, HR, IT, Broadcasting, Security, Finance, local government relations and local public affairs.
  • Work with property project team during construction phase to make sure the development of site matches future operating requirements.
  • Ensure that events and operations are compliant with all relevant laws, licences and regulations.
  • Coordinate timely with HR team to ensure the proper part-timer manpower resources are ready as planned and properly trained.
  • Promote and uphold good sustainability and safety practices in line with regulatory and corporate standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree above with more than 20 years working experience, especially in large venue operation.
  • Great communication skill, bilingual in both Chinese and English.
  • Strategically thinking and demonstrating effective leadership;
  • People Oriented, manage cultural transformation, talent management, communication and capability.
  • Being operational effective, keep improvement in mind and deployment the lean projects.
  • Others capabilities as an outstanding GM should have.
