About Our Client
Our client is a technology company listed in the US stock exchange with over 3000 employees in Hong Kong and China. They provide data centre, cloud and network services as well as other venture investments for internet companies, SME, blue chip enterprises and government entities.
Reporting to the Board of Director and Chairman of the C&B Committee, you will be a key member of the management team providing leadership and direction to the HR function in line with the business goals and needs. You will lead and manage a team and oversee the full spectrum of HR services including the development of the policies and procedures, compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, performance management as well as supporting the Chairman with the preparation and documentation required for the remuneration committee meetings. You will act as a true HR business partner to review and further develop existing human resources policies and practices and work closely with the Group HR and business unit heads for better talent management and development.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will be a degree qualified human resources professional with a proven track record in providing both strategic and operational human resources management in a challenging, evolving, listed organisation across a diverse set of business. Candidates with experience working for international data, technology, high tech or telecommunications background would be highly sought after, listed or IPO experiences preferred. You will have a solid track record leading HR teams in driving innovative HR programs, redeveloping rewards and benefit strategies to drive the business forward and prior experience preparing information and documents for the remuneration committee would be required. You will possess strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset , along with a high level of honesty, integrity, responsibility and fulfilment of commitments. A good understanding of the financial picture , knowledge in both HK and China labour law and best practices as well as strong communication, presentation, influencing and senior stake holder management skills will be essential. Fluency in oral and written English and Chinese is required.
