About Our Client

Our client is a globally reputable FS institution with expanding their inhouse IT fintech businesses. They have a well-established team with excellent development opportunity for individuals. They are currently looking for an experienced IT Fintech professional from sizable organizations, familiar with banking/FS domain, to be Fintech Head for driving business solution strategies, and Organizational Development initiatives.

Job Description

  • Responsible in FinTech projects delivery and Fintech platforms management
  • Assist the COO in maintaining healthy and sustainable financial results of projects and complying with statutory/regulatory requirements
  • Formulate technological policy and strategic plan to meet the business and regulatory requirements
  • Identify industry trends and FinTech development to facilitate a better understanding of the needs of corporate and business partners
  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional divisions and external vendors to ensure smooth operation of Fintech platforms
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to explore and develop new technological initiatives
  • Manage and coach the team to build secure, reliable and inter-operable technological solutions

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in business innovation and FinTech solution
  • Possess strong knowledge of FinTech technologies such as blockchain, cloud-based application, cryptocurrency
  • Proven experience in project management, business requirement analysis and application system development and implementation, FinTech related is preferable
  • Proven track record in managing and delivery of FinTech initiatives
  • Extensive experience in project governance and management
  • Strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal, communication and management skills
  • Good understanding of the regulatory landscape in the financial sector
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging FinTech trends and technologies
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese as well as fluency in Putonghua
