Job Description

  • Lead the design and rollout of various FinTech solutions, including cloud-native platforms, central bank digital currency initiatives, and cross‑border DLT integration projects.
  • Work closely with business users to identify requirements, perform analysis, document specifications, and validate business needs.
  • Support system rollout activities through scripting, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and implementation across multiple FinTech programmes.
  • Contribute to project coordination covering scope definition, progress tracking, budgeting, resource planning, and stakeholder alignment to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Assist in overseeing external vendors to ensure project milestones and timelines are met.
  • Prepare project progress updates by gathering, analysing, and presenting relevant data, metrics, and technical findings.
  • Collaborate actively with internal team members and external partners to drive collective achievement of project and team goals.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in system development or infrastructure engineering within the financial sector for Architect level; 5+ years for Senior Specialist.
  • Hands‑on experience in building cloud infrastructure and/or deploying modern applications.
  • Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Terraform, Ansible, Nginx, API integration (RESTful / SOAP), and relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Advantageous to have working knowledge in NodeJS, TypeScript, blockchain frameworks (Hyperledger or Ethereum), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps (cloud or on‑prem), Docker, Kubernetes, and encryption technologies including symmetric/asymmetric methods and SSL/TLS.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms will be a strong plus.
  • Strong enthusiasm for exploring emerging technologies.
  • Solid technical documentation and writing skills.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is preferred.
