Job Description

As a Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Leading and mentoring the accounting team to meet organizational goals.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Managing cash flow and optimizing financial performance.
  • Preparing detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective financial controls and processes.
  • Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the professional services industry or a similar environment.
