We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations within the industrial industry. This role is based in Hong Kong and requires 1-2 days weekly travelling (day trip) to PRC to drive financial strategy and business success.

Job Description

As a Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team for the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Driving internal controls of BUs and improving financial processes, and continuous improvement across all financial operations.
  • Support CFO and Management to provide strategic financial insights for business decisions.
  • Monitoring cash flow and managing financial risks effectively.
  • Leading and mentoring the accounting and finance team.
  • Collaborating with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA.
  • Experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal control and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical thinking, eagerness to learn and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
