Our Client is seeking an all-rounded Financial Controller to manage the financial reporting and operation of hotel group.

About Our Client

Our Client is a mid-sized hotel group operating under a HK Listed Company, with a presence locally and internationally.

Job Description

  • Report to CFO and lead a team of 6
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the annual budget process and provide accurate forecasts for hotel operations in the Greater China and overseas.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and performance analysis for senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, accounting standards, and hotel industry financial policies in Hong Kong and Canada.
  • Oversee cash flow planning, working capital optimization, and financial risk management.
  • Monitor and analyze cost structures to identify opportunities for savings without compromising quality.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, coordinate audits, and ensure financial integrity across hotel operations.
  • Collaborate with revenue management and sales teams to enhance financial performance.
  • Work closely with hotel management teams, investors, and external partners on financial matters.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 15 years of finance and accounting experience, ideally within the real estate/ hospitality industry and CPA firms.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-border financial operations and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Occasional travelling is required
