About Our Client

Our client is a well-known Hong Kong Education Institution with around 4,000 staff in their Institution. They are now seeking for a Treasury function expert to join their team as they are having expansion in their campus in the coming years.

Job Description

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of treasury and investment functions, covering administration and reporting, including risk control and compliance requirements;
  • Perform cash and liquidity management duties, including cash flow projections, investment income budget and distribution;
  • provide support to the internal investment portfolio of, including purchase of bonds and placement of bank deposits according to investment policies, procedure manual, cash flow projection and requirement;
  • Provide support to the Committee in treasury and investment management of the investment policies, asset allocation, engagement of investment managers and professionals, setting of benchmarks, and performance monitoring of investment portfolios, compiling analyses and reports, and implementation of decisions or changes as directed by the Committee
  • Provide support in the external and internal audits of treasury management including liaison, preparation of responses and action plans;
  • Assist in developing internal policies, guidelines and procedures in relation to treasury and investment functions with appropriate compliance and risk management;



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance and related disciplines;
  • Professional accounting qualification and passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst examination or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification professional and supervisory experience in accounting, finance, treasury, auditing and/or other related fields
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Sound computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word; and
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
