About Our Client

Join our client sports organisation as a Finance Manager and take charge of our financial operations to ensure continued success and growth. We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to lead our finance department and drive our financial objectives forward.

Job Description

  • Preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ranging from monthly to annual statements.
  • Analysis of financial data to spot trends, risks, and opportunities, providing strategic insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversight of accounts payable and receivable functions, as well as cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
  • Collaboration with the broader finance team and other departments to align financial strategies with the company's objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • A qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in a finance manager or controller role.
  • Profound knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating financial information for non-finance audiences.
  • Previous experience in the Accounting and Financial Managers & Controllers industry.
  • Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
