My client is a virtual bank and they are looking to hire a Regulatory Report - Finance Manager to join their team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review HKMA banking returns, regulatory surveys, and Head Office regulatory reports
  • Establish and maintain internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of regulatory reporting data
  • Analyse and provide guidance on new HKMA and Basel regulatory reporting requirements
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors on matters related to regulatory reporting
  • Participate in system enhancement projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Support departmental and management decision-making through ad hoc assignments and analytical projects

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Regulatory Reporting experience from a bank is a must
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting and analysis within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • A detail-oriented approach and the ability to meet tight deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
