About Our Client

Our client is a well-known General Insurance firm. They wish to hire a talented Finance Manager - Financial Reporting to join their team.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for

  • preparing the month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting for the group
  • monitoring the month end and year end closing processes to ensure accurate and complete financial result
  • advising business on new accounting treatment
  • looking after outsourced shared service partner's deliverable
  • presenting financial and operational analysis to provide insights on performance
  • performing ad-hoc assignment as well

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
  • Qualified Accountant, ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of general insurance financial reporting
  • Good communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, independent, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
