Job Description

This role requires a deep understanding of global commercial operations and market dynamics to optimize business performance and make informed financial decisions.

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner on all commercial finance matters
  • Review monthly management reporting
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term growth objectives.
  • Partner closely with the broader client engagement community to ensure a consistent approach to driving performance, forecasting and planning.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of global commercial operations, including pricing and individual sector and geographic market dynamics, to optimize the performance of the business.
  • Constructively challenge the Commercial team on target setting.
  • Use KPIs and financial metrics to monitor, challenge and drive business performance.
  • Lead the evaluation, provide financial insights and make decisions on commercial opportunities.
  • Understand the customers and competitors to ensure our commercial decision-making is informed by this knowledge.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, with professional CPA qualification
  • 15 years of experience, with extensive experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a global commercial environment
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
  • Deep understanding of global commercial operations and market dynamics
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting, planning and performance management
  • Ability to constructively challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of KPIs and financial metrics
  • Competitive in investment appraisal and business case evaluation
