Job Description

Reporting directly to the Greater China CFO, you will play a vital role in shaping the company's financial strategy and overall performance of the local market. This position involves collaborating closely with the HK MD to lead commercial finance initiatives and support the expansion into new markets in China, ensuring integrated performance management, accurate forecasting, and strategic planning. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing financial strategies, leveraging insights from global operations and competitor benchmarking to boost business performance, setting value-added targets, and utilizing KPIs to monitor and enhance business outcomes. Additionally, you will oversee the management of Shared Service Center (SSC), Audit, Treasury, and Tax functions within your designated market.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 10-15 years of experience in a senior finance role, ideally in a regional/ global commercial setting with experience in investment appraisal and business case evaluation, Big 4 background is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills with team management experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of global operations and market dynamics
  • Ability to effectively challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • Occasional travelling is required
