Job Description

  • Enforce Data Sourcing and Management controls for regulatory reports mandated by HKMA.
  • Create and update documentation for Business Data Elements, including data dictionaries, data lineages, trusted sources evaluation, and data quality checks.
  • Collaborate with process owners and IT for implementing data quality rules on Finance Systems and End User Computing.
  • Coordinate data management efforts with various Finance teams, and IT team.
  • Undertake additional data management tasks as required.



The Successful Applicant

  • Hold a university degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in banking and finance, with a background in IT business analysis.
  • Demonstrate experience in IT and data-related projects.
  • Exhibit a solid comprehension of data-related issues and their impact on financial reporting within a banking context.
  • Preferably have knowledge of finance reporting, finance systems, and data processes.
  • Display robust business analysis and project management skills.
  • Show proficiency in communication, both written and verbal.
