About Our Client

Our client is a well-known Hong Kong bank that serves for over 3.5 million customers for with over 80 years of history, it mainly provides services in commercial banking, wealth management and professional compliance banking matter for individuals and companies. The department is currently looking for a Finance Data Assistant Manager to handle finance data system data processing and finance reporting, and data sourcing.

Job Description

* Implement a Compliance Standard Program for risk metrics based on Data Standards requirements;
* Implement Data Sourcing and Management controls for regulatory reports of HKMA
* Work with various Finance teams in Group/Region/Countries, IT teams and other GB/GFs for data quality implementation and remediation initiatives;
* Work with IT and SMEs to implement AI use cases;
* Perform other ad hoc duties related to data management;

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree holder in Statistics, Data and Information Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related discipline
  • 2 years of working experience in banking or FI experience for data management field
  • Experience in data management, and finance system exposure is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good communication skills in English and Chinese/ Putonghua
