About Our Client
Our client is an expanding FMCG company with a strong portfolio focused in craft beers, spirits and whiskies. Their brands are diverse, exclusive and distinct and they focus on sharing quality beverages to customers around the world. With their continual expansion, they are now adding a new headcount to lead the business development of their export business.
The Export Director is a newly added headcount that will be responsible for further developing the business internationally. You will be exploring new opportunities globally to grow new partnerships and relationships with clients. You will lead the strategic development of your business area by planning, forecasting and constructing commercial business strategies for different country to maximize revenue, identify opportunities and drive profit. Your role will be responsible for managing the full scope of products within the company. This role will be responsible for discovering opportunities for import as well, building relationships with new breweries and identifying potential partners. Travelling will be necessarily for this role.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate must have strong experiences within the FMCG industry. Candidates with experiences with craft beers, spirits and whiskies will be considered first. Regional or international experience is not required but is preferred. You should possess strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter with a strong sales track record. You must be autonomous, entrepreneurial and have an energetic personality.
Candidates with lesser experience may be considered for a Senior Manager role.
