About Our Client
Our client is a well-established retail and corporate bank in the region with strong portfolios across their corporate and commercial banking business.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for:
Managing the entire corporate credit approval process for portfolios (Corporates and Financial Institutions)
Leading a sizeable team of credit approvers and ensuring high credit quality of the portfolio
Reviewing credit policies and procedures and streamlining the efficiency of credit approval process with sound delegation of authority for credit approvers
- As part of the Credit Committee, approving corporate credit transaction for the Bank
Act as one of the key contacts with the HKMA and external auditors in relation to credit risk management issues
- Formulating new credit approval guideline, process or underwriting standards and continuing to enhance credit approval turnaround.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a university graduate with at least 15 years of Corporate Credit Approval experience. You will have hands-on experience in approving large size and complex transaction and possess ability to make sound judgement in relations to credit approval. You will have extensive experience in managing a sizeable team and proven track record of leadership capability. You will have a good understanding of regulatory requirement related to credit risk management. Good knowledge of credit issues related to Chinese corporates will be an advantage. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential.
