Job Description

As an Energy Associate, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of potential investment opportunities, including building complex financial models and performing comprehensive due diligence
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of investment proposals for investment committee review
  • Drive proactive deal sourcing and lead sector research and analysis
  • Contribute to value creation initiatives across portfolio companies
  • Collaborate with team members on various strategic and operational projects related to portfolio management



The Successful Applicant

A successful Energy Associate should have:

  • 3-5 years of investment experience, ideally in technology-focused companies
  • Strong interest in emerging and complex technologies
  • Advanced financial modeling skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience in energy transition or decarbonization technologies is preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and adaptability
  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Japanese or Korean is a plus
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Analyst position
  • Role can be based in either Hong Kong SAR or Singapore
