Our client is a large organization within the insurance industry, known for their innovative approach to integrating technology into their services. They are seeking a talented professional to join their team in Hong Kong to contribute to their ongoing success in the market.

Job Description

As a Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver end‑to‑end project management for strategic initiatives, ensuring outcomes are aligned to agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
  • Mobilize and coordinate cross‑functional teams, vendors, and offshore resources to execute project plans.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and governance approvals, including EXCO‑SPSC submissions and Steering Committee updates.
  • Track and report project progress, financials, risks, issues, and dependencies; manage change control and risk mitigation.
  • Lead vendor sourcing activities, including RFPs, SoW preparation, negotiation, and performance management.
  • Facilitate day‑to‑day coordination across business, IT, and external partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and outsourced resources to support delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Business, IT, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and PMO stakeholders.
  • Provide clear, structured updates to senior management and governance forums.
  • Manage ongoing communication with vendors to ensure quality delivery and identify improvement or innovation opportunities.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM, or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years' experience in project or program management, consulting, or business operations, preferably within financial services.
  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale, complex change initiatives, including digital or technology‑driven projects.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams and vendors; familiarity with Agile principles preferred.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
