We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Data Centre Operation Manager / Data Centre Consultant to oversee and manage data center operations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Job Description

  • Oversee 24/7 data centre operations as the primary escalation and incident management point
  • Manage incident response, problem tickets, and change control activities in a complex DC environment
  • Maintain and refine operational procedures covering preventive maintenance, DR, and crisis handling
  • Enhance workflows, documentation, and ensure compliance with corporate standards and policies
  • Support monitoring and automation tools for enterprise systems and batch/backup operations
  • Take charge of facilities operations, maintenance planning, and mission‑critical infrastructure management
  • Coordinate regular and ad‑hoc maintenance, patching, and disaster recovery drills
  • Ensure service levels, vendor performance, and contracts meet operational and client expectations
  • Review and improve work processes, Method of Procedures (MOPs), and documentation
  • Handle asset tagging, inventory upkeep, and equipment lifecycle management
  • Respond to emergencies including power outages, fire, flooding, and BCP activation
  • Manage supplier relationships, focusing on performance, quality, cost, and compliance
  • Safeguard high availability across 24/7 operations while balancing cost and future demand forecasting
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT operation services

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge or certifications in ITIL, PMP, BCP, COBIT, Scrum, DevOps, or similar are advantageous
  • Understanding of data centre technologies: hosting, networking, storage, and emerging solutions
  • Strong familiarity with critical DC infrastructure - UPS, HVAC, STS, CRAC/CRAH, PDUs, BMS, fire systems
  • Solid experience in ITSM, DC operations, vendor management, contracts, and continuity planning
  • Technical exposure to monitoring platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, SCOM, SolarWinds, Azure, etc.
  • Good grasp of Windows, VMware/Hyper‑V, storage, backups, networking, and cloud technologies
  • Experience in DC operations, infrastructure support, SysOps, or IT outsourcing
  • Proven capability working in large-scale, multi‑site, highly available infrastructure environments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead meetings and deliver presentations
