Job Description

Your Role

  • Oversee daily finance operations and ensure the smooth running of accounting processes
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial and management reports, including regulatory filings, surveys, and statistical data for the Hong Kong Branch and Asset Management entities
  • Execute daily and monthly financial and regulatory controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support the preparation of annual audits, tax filings, and statutory reports, ensuring alignment with regulatory and tax requirements
  • Draft audited financial statements and assist with external audits to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial records
  • Contribute to project initiatives by gathering requirements, communicating with stakeholders, and participating in system testing and rollout
  • Provide leave cover support for team members in the Hong Kong Finance department
  • Handle various ad hoc assignments as needed



The Successful Applicant

Your Profile

  • A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; qualified accountant or finalist of a recognized professional accounting body is a strong advantage
  • Computer Science Background is highly preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within the banking or financial services sector
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g. macros, Power Query)
  • Exposure to programming or data analytics tools such as SQL, Alteryx, or Python is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adept at multitasking under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrates a proactive mindset with the ability to learn and adapt
