About Our Client
Our client is a well-known American asset management company that is listed on the stock exchange. With over 100 years of history, they currently have 12+ offices in APAC.
They will begin to implement a new credit risk limit monitoring and management system into the business. Therefore, they are urgently looking for an experienced Project Manager and Business Analyst to lead the implementation and successful delivery of Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the system. Candidates must have a strong knowledge on credit risk limit monitoring/management, specifically with debt securities (corporate credit). Those familiar with relevant Moody's products might have an advantage.
High level of fluency and presentation skills in English is mandatory. Candidates with immediate availability or short notice periods may be given priority.
Job Description
Business Analyst responsibilities:
- Collect and analyse business requirements
- Understand workflow (data, both manual and automated)
- Communicate with business users across APAC
- Design UAT strategy
- Coordinate UAT
- Draft project documentations (strategies, business requirements and etc. )
- Any ad-hoc duties
Project Manager responsibilities:
- Senior stakeholder management
- Lead steering committee meetings
- Manage external vendors
- Manage internal teams (business, IT, credit dept and etc.)
- Monitor project time line
- Set and monitor project budgeting and financials
- Assist in any other ad-hoc project and duties
- Any ad-hoc duties
The Successful Applicant
Business Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or any related degree
- 5+ years experience in project management / business analysis in financial services
- Must have strong knowledge on credit risk in relation to debt securities (buy-side and/or sell-side)
- PMP, Prince 2 or any other project management certifications are a plus
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills required
- High level of fluency and presentation skills in English is mandatory
- Immediately available or short notice period is highly preferred
- Must be eligible to work in Hong Kong (working visa sponsorship/transferals will not be considered)
