We are looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist to join our client's CEO office. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing and enhancing our client's corporate image, branding and communicating their value to stakeholders. Native Mandarin language ability is a plus for this role.

Job Description

As a Corporate Communications Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to foster a positive corporate culture
  • Create engaging content for employee newsletters, intranet, and other internal channels
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to draft speeches, presentations, and briefing materials
  • Prepare communication materials that effectively convey executive messages to various stakeholders
  • Ensure that executive communications align with the overall corporate messaging strategy
  • Content contributor for a variety of communication channels, including website, internal newsletters, company presentations and LinkedIn
  • Manage the company's website & intranet site content, engagement and coordination with key stakeholders
  • Creating effective communication strategies within the organisation
  • Write and edit high-quality bilingual content in both English and Chinese for corporate social media platforms & Linkedin
  • Coordination of corporate events
  • Stay informed about trends and best practices in corporate communications, particularly within the Chinese market
  • Tailor communication strategies to resonate with audiences, utilising local insights and cultural nuances.
  • Work closely with HR, marketing, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with corporate goal

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Communications Specialist should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, communications or related discipline is a must
  • fluency in English, Cantonese and Native level of Mandarin preferred
  • 6 to 8 years of experience within corporate communications, with expertise on employee and executive communications a plus
  • Strong expertise in the China market and experience with Chinese social media platforms
  • Excellent written skills in both English and Chinese (bilingual), simplified Chinese is a plus
  • Proven ability to craft compelling narratives and engaging content for diverse audiences
  • has a flexible mindset and don't mind to be hands on
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in a corporate environment, particularly in multinational or Financial Services companies a plus
  • Familiarity with communication tools, photo editing and software a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
