Job Description

  • Drive project success by overseeing system integration initiatives from planning through deployment, ensuring smooth collaboration across internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand business needs, translate them into actionable technical strategies, and provide clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and mentor teams (onshore and offshore), fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and high performance.
  • Manage vendors effectively, ensuring deliverables meet quality, security, and compliance standards while maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Oversee delivery excellence, including design reviews, integration testing, operational readiness, and production rollout.
  • Champion best practices in integration, DevOps, and documentation, while ensuring performance, resilience, and data privacy requirements are met.
  • Resolve challenges proactively, coordinating troubleshooting and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 7-10+ years of IT experience, with at least 3-5 years leading system integration or middleware projects.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage external vendors in complex delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills - able to build trust and influence at all levels.
  • Hands-on knowledge of integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, ETL/data integration tools, PostgreSQL) and solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing is preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services industry or other regulated sectors is an advantage, especially with data privacy and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Strong English communication skills; Cantonese and/or Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
  • Exposure to workflow automation, web portal development, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
  • Relevant certifications (TOGAF, cloud, or vendor-specific integration/middleware).
