Job Description

  • Engage in cloud projects but not limited to daily operation and ad-hoc tasks
  • Write clean and organized technical documents
  • Work independently while in close collaboration with others in the team
  • Explore innovative technologies to make recommendations on achieving project-defined business and technical requirements
  • Manage user expectation and provide cloud solutions to them

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or cloud or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years' experience or above in a cloud environment or relevant work, having cloud automation experience will be an advantage
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux systems and applications will be a plus
  • Good Knowledge in the core cloud services architecture and cost mechanics (Compute, containers, database, serverless, storage, etc.)
  • Good Knowledge in one of the most common programming languages: Ruby, JavaScript, Python or PHP is highly preferred but not a must
  • Good Knowledge in Azure Cloud
  • Strong financial background to create ROI, TCO, and cost and utilization optimization strategies
  • Think about systems: edge cases, failure modes, behaviors, specific implementations
  • Knowledge of software development and SDLC
  • Passion to learn innovative technologies and products
  • Responsible and able to work under pressure
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, good written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for coding and automation
  • Self-driven and able to work across functionally diverse teams (technical and non-technical)
  • Team player with a transformation mindset
  • Familiar or knowledge in DevOps and IaC is essential
  • Knowledge in Terraform and Ansible will be a plus
  • Knowledge in Enterprise monitoring solution e.g. Elasticwill be a plus
  • Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards
  • Comprehensive technical expertise in a variety of DevSecOps toolkits
