Job Description

As a Claims Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and reviewing general insurance claims to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Leading a team of claims professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance
  • Investigating and resolving complex claims while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline claims processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Preparing and analyzing claims reports to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Ensuring timely communication with clients, brokers, and relevant stakeholders throughout the claims process
  • Monitoring claims reserves and expenses to maintain financial accuracy
  • Staying updated with industry regulations and best practices within the insurance sector

The Successful Applicant

A successful Claims Manager should have:

  • Over 10 years of related working experience; a strong background in managing insurance claims, particularly property and casualty lines
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders
  • A solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry practices in Hong Kong
