Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building the software expert team from the ground up to a total of 20+ people locally. This role will focus on expanding the development solutions and product team;
  • Aside from building a tech development team for this role, the candidate will be accountable for the continuous enhancement and evolution of AI Avatar products and strategies for existing digital offerings. A strong background in software engineering is essential, as it equips the individual with the technical expertise and skills needed to grasp the product technologies and seamlessly integrate new technical competencies into AI-driven business processes;
  • Develop the company's software digital roadmap, strategy for software product development, and on-going management for the AI-driven solutions offerings;
  • Conduct Cost-Benefit Analyses: Perform in-depth evaluations of investment options to ensure digital projects deliver measurable business value and a strong return on investment;
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Encourage an organizational culture that supports informed risk-taking and a data-driven, results-oriented approach to decision-making;
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team: Work closely with leadership to seamlessly integrate digital capabilities into the overall business strategy, utilizing technology to enhance competitive advantage;
  • Act as a thought leader in digital initiatives to external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and the broader industry;
  • Stay Informed on Emerging Technologies: Keep abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and best practices to guide the company's digital roadmap and maintain a competitive edge in the market;

The Successful Applicant

Job Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree or degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Experience: Approximately 10+ years in a senior software development (VP of Software Development/ Engineering role), with significant leadership or innovation responsibilities, preferably in an entrepreneurial environment;
  • Must Have: Proven success in driving digital transformations using AI-based solutions and achieving measurable business results.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A strong understanding of business principles and outstanding analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maximize return on investment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and present to executive stakeholders.
  • Passion for Technology: A keen interest in exploring new technologies and business models to stay ahead of industry trends.
