The Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF) is seeking an innovative professional with experience in the corporate world as they pursue the right balance between a commercial growth mindset and the challenges of managing a Not for Profit.

Job Description

CCF is seeking to hire a dynamic and passionate leader to manage the transformation and ongoing success of the organisation as the Hong Kong CEO. The CEO will "bring something different" to CCF that will allow the Organisation, its Staff, the Board, Donors and most importantly the Children and Families which it supports, to continue to thrive. ​

​Reporting to the Board and managing a passionate group of medical, commercial and operational staff, the CEO will be responsible for:​

  • Be the "Face" and key representative for CCF in Hong Kong​
  • Work with the highest level of empathy, compassion and integrity ​
  • Deliver a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with CCF's mission, vision and goals
  • Introduce new ideas and innovations that will help the organisation transform and grow ​
  • Preempt and problem solve everyday issues and more demanding / large challenges as they arise
  • As a team leader, focus on people/staff management, coaching and ongoing development (team of approx 50 staff)
  • Work in close partnership with the Hospital Authority and other necessary medical groups
  • Acting as a strategic partner and transformative advisor to the Board ​

The Successful Applicant

CCF is looking to hire a Superstar into the CEO position. This role must be taken-up by a passionate and talented individual that brings a healthy combination of empathy, determination and business acuman to the role.

Applicants should have:

  • A highly successful career coming from the corporate or NGO sector or a combination of the two.
  • Outstanding communication skill combined with the ability to build trust and show compassion.
  • Experience transforming an organisation and leading people.
  • The highest level of integraty and ethics.
  • Finance and accounting literite with experience managing a P/L.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Current a Hong Kong resident or PR.
