Our client is a dynamic and innovative QSR business. With a commitment to quality, sustainability, and exceptional customer engagement, they are seeking a visionary and results-driven CEO to lead their new business venture. Outside of Southeast Asia, they have more than 3,000 stores and are looking to expand in this region. As an outcome, we are looking for market leaders in SEA.

Job Description

The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the overall success and growth of the QSR new business. This role requires a seasoned executive with a proven track record in the restaurant industry, strong business acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership.
  • Identify new market opportunities, trends, and consumer preferences to inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Optimize operational processes and systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Financial Management: develop and manage the annual budget, financial forecasts, and performance metrics to achieve financial targets and objectives.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and revenue growth strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Team Leadership & Development: recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing executive team capable of achieving the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and empowerment to inspire and motivate employees at all levels.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, suppliers, and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with the board of directors to provide regular updates on business performance, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

The Successful Applicant

  • MBA, or Degree in Business, Engineering or Finance from a reputable university.
  • Five or more years executive leadership experience in the restaurant industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of QSR market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong experience in leading store development, franchise development in SEA markets.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
